How many bowel movements should a person have who is on a diet colon cleanse?

I have conflicting information as to how many bowl movements is good or normal. What is the normal amount for a person with a healthy cleansed colon or is on a regular colon cleanse regiment?

What is in the detox or colon cleanse supplements that isn't in regular fiber?

Does it work? What would make it cleanse the colon? What about that horrible tasting stuff you get in the green bottle at the pharmacy? Wouldn’t that do the same thing?

How do you go about giving yourself a colon cleanse?

This is gross but ever since I’ve heard that the average person has about 5 lbs. of impacted fecal matter lining their colon I’ve always wanted to do a colon cleanse. Any suggestions?

Colon Cleanse?

Can anyone tell me – seriously – the benefits of a colon cleanse? Is it something you recommend? I have been reading just a bit about how so many things are effected by the colon and how you can feel so run down, bloated, be unsuccessful with losing weight, suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, have digestive problems, etc. all from neglecting your colon. I am just not sure if this has any truth behind it or not. Is a colon cleanse worth having? Is it an expensive process? How do you go about looking into something like this? I realize this topic is a bit off the wall, but any serious help or information would be most beneficial.

colon cleanse?

i want to start a colon cleanse but i dont know which cleanser is the best. i found Preventive Nutrition Complete Body Cleansing Program at GNC and Im thinking of getting it but I want to know if there’s something better that I can get without having to order it online (in case i have questions i want to ask the salesperson). has anyone tried something really good that’s over the counter? if you’ve done a colon cleanse tell me which one, did it work, how do you feel now, did u lose weight, etc. thanks alot, the suggestions do mean alot so thank you for those who have has experiences witht his type of issue. i dp want to clean my inside and feel light and free…i want to feel clean and comfortable from the inside out.

I know there is a colon cleanse you can do with juices, but I don’t know what all there is to do – you know, I don’t know enough about it to do it? Any help? Also, is it safe to do this kind of colon cleanse while breastfeeding?

I have been having a lot of problems with recurring constipation and have wanted to try a colon cleanse to get rid of the compacted stools.
