Lifting a box yesterday- it was like getting a kick in the stomach all muscles in my back tightened up had a sauna last night did loosen me out but still a bit sore today any tips for reliving pain -anyone thanks


As a back pain "sufferer" for many years, if you think that you did not sustain a severe injury and just pulled a muscle, you can alternate ice and heat 15 min ea. every couple of hours. If you are working today or in the position that icing isn’t gonna be convenient then you can rely on the heat. Drugs stores, etc. carry disposable heat pads called Therma Care, they come in different sizes and just wrap around your waist comfortably under you clothes. Also, Tylenol Extra Strength is great for easing your pain. The Acetaminophen in it works wonders on back pain. Of course you know if you don’t get any relief soon you should probably see a doc, a real one not a chiropractor.

Try Yoga and if that doesn’t help get a Back Support and call your Dr.
I find deep heat is good if you rub it on when you get into bed. Also a heat pack can help too.
