For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing some lower back pain that will literally send me to my knees and I can’t hardly move. It will subside enough for me to make my way to a chair but there is still a dull pain. Also, a small portion of my thigh will go numb. Any ideas? It happens about once a week but has happened as much as three times in one day.
Back pain 7 months after having an epidural?
I have really bad lower back pain. It is sharp and starts in my lower back in the middle goes down my bottom and into my legs to my knees. Is this nerve pain? How can this be treated?
What can I do for this lower back pain?
I work in a job where I constantly walk around. Mostly on a hard surface. About halfway into my shift my knees pain, my lower back tightens up and pains, and it is very uncomfortable. Is there a specific shoe I could get to help me out or even maybe a brace?

I was told by my physician that it’s not related to the epidural, but after i had my block done this is when I’ve experienced these feelings. I have spasms and weakness in my hands, legs and feet. I also have tighten around my knees and this was done 25 days ago. I’m still experiencing alot of pressure on my back and hips. I can’t sit, walk or stand for long periods without having terrible pain.

Is their a way for a beginner to do crunches without back pain?

I am a beginner at workingout and I am having extreme difficulty lifting off the ground significantly for crunches.
I feel like I am wasting my time with them, but I really want to scupt and shape my abs without giving up.
Regular crunches hurt my lower back/spine. I have tried a exercise ball and rolled around like crazy. I just want to learn how to do a old fashioned crunch correctly and effectively without back/spine pain.
I am using an exercise mat and my back doesn’t hurt any other time… So I know thats not an issue.
Could anyone please help me? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks
When answering if you could give detailed descriptions on how to do a specified workout that be great.
(Also, webisites if any would help to – So I could have a visual)
Thanks again.
When I do a crunch, I lay fat on the ground (with a exercise mat).
Knees bent and hands behind my head.
I am not lifting off the ground a lot…I can’t for some reason. Which is why I feel like I’m doing these in vain.
What are possible causes for my lower back and leg pain?

I’m 22 and since about a year ago, I’ve been having lower back pain that’s been getting worst. I don’t do sports and there was no injury to the area. It comes and goes but it’s causing me more pain now and the pain is also in my legs. The pain is worst when I lie down at night and its a sharp pain radiating to a dull pain. The leg pain feels like nerve pain and it’s been making my legs very weak and I have trouble walking at times. I also get this weird tingling sensation in my lower body and it makes my legs weak and knees buckle. I’ve been to several doctors and they told me it was muscle pain at first, told me to exercise, and gave me anti-inflammatory meds. None of that worked, and they are having xrays dones and my CT scan is schedule for monday. I’m pretty nervous, and the doctory said she does not know what it is without the test results and does not know what the problem could be. Anyone have similar experiences and can tell me what it was or any ideas what it could be?
Will CT scans always be helpful to find out problems relating to my back pain? Seems like some of you think that I should not be getting a CT scan. What is the worst possible problem that could be causing my pain? I just want to be prepared. I don’t do any lifting or heavy exercise, so the slipped disc thing seems weird… Does it just happen?
What types treatment options are there for back pain and muscle spasms?

I get severe muscular neck and shoulder pain along with muscle spasms in my lower back. It’s not an everyday thing, just every few days I will be really stiff. I was taking Mobic for inflammation for my knees, but my doctor gave me the OK to stop taking that about 5 months ago. I wanted to know if there is any treatment options besides taking a daily medication or going to the chiropractor. Thanks!

I’ve been having a lot of problems with pain in back (especially across my neck and shoulders) and in my legs (knees especially). I think some of these aches are work related (I’m on my feet all day at work) but I also think they are due in part to depression. I’m already on an antidepressant and heard that yoga is great to help one relax. What are some good yoga poses that will help with this? I’m tired of being sore all the time.

I’m pretty sure i have collapsed arches (something genetic) and i started feeling pain in my knees and lower back pain for several years (20 now). I also think it’s partly due to bad posture, because i spend 4-5 hours at computer.
I started doing exercises since april and decreased the time spent on computer and it’s been useful. Should i ask a doctor before trying one of those plantars?
Any tips appreciated!
