Skin care?

I am 22 years old and have normal skin. I get a few zits every once in awhile but do not get bad breakouts often. My question is what are the best skin care products to be using? My family has great skin, so do I still need to be using expensive products? If so what type should I be using? If I don't need expensive products what are some good over the counter products? I need information about cleansers, moisturizers, and anything else I should use. Thanks!
How long should I use a skin care product before deciding if it works or not?

Skin care products like moisturizers, cleansers, exfoliators and so on.
Please rank these anti-aging and beauty products in order from most effective/important to least?

There are TONS of products on the market, and all of them vary very intensely on their importance in your regime, and their effectiveness.
1)Micro-Dermabrasion. This seems to be great at exfoliating, but can it be left out, or should it be a permanent part?
2)Chem-peels/glycolic peels, Peels in general: These seem to provide even more dramatic effects from microdermabrasion and increase absorption.
3)Toners/Cleansers/Moisturizers — Do we really need a toner? Are cleansers very important? What about moisturizers?
4)Anti-Aging product/creams themselves.
5)Specific area creams (such as eye and neck) Do we really need to purchase specific area creams? Wont the regular creams target all of that as well?
If there's anything I left out please say so. thanks!
Anti-Aging products and Acne prone skin (for men)?

I am a 28-year-old asian guy who enjoyed acne-free beautiful skin when I was in my early teens 'til age 26. It all went downhill from there. Acne attacked my skin and now I look 'ugh'. Fortunately, with help from dermatologists my battles with it has stabilized though I still have acne scars and occassional acne on my oily skin. I'm getting older and I know by age 30 men should start using anti-aging products to combat skin aging.
The problem is dermatologists forbid me from using any moisturizers (even those that are high-quality) and limits me with a facial wash and toner only (completely skipping 'step 3' of skin care). I admit it has done help, my acne problems have stabilized. But I'm worried about my skin not getting any anti-aging treatments and it's showing signs already. This is quite a problem for me because all anti-aging products are all in moisturizer form (milk, gel, cream, mask, and emulsions) – all things which I can't use because my skin reacts to them negatively.
im 18. should i start using anti aging products to prevent premature aging?
